Privacy policy

Short version: nothing here is for sale, so there is no payment or shipping data to collect. Interest-list entries live in your own browser, no email is sent in this test environment, and nothing is sold to anyone.

What we collect

Nothing on this site can be purchased, so we collect no shipping address and no payment details of any kind. If you reserve a launch-batch place, or join the separate interest list, we record your first name, email address, country, an optional note about how you would use the bag, your consent and its timestamp, the specific bag, how you arrived at the site, and — if you came through the fit finder — your answers and the bag we recommended. We also store a coarse hashed form of your network address purely to rate-limit abuse.

Why we collect it

So we can tell you when the bag you asked about is real, keep the 25-place launch batch honest, and understand which bags people want and why. We do not sell personal data, we do not run advertising pixels, and we do not build profiles across other websites.

Where it is stored

Launch-batch reservations and interest-list entries are stored on Tomei's server database, because the 25-place cap has to be counted in one authoritative place. They are never readable from the public site or its API: only aggregate occupancy — how many places are reserved and how many remain — is shown publicly, and the private internal report only ever sees masked email addresses. Your browser separately keeps an anonymous visitor and session identifier, how you arrived, and a pointer to your own record so you can edit or withdraw it.

No email is sent

This is a test environment. Nothing is emailed to you — no confirmation, no marketing, no launch notice — even though your consent is recorded as if it would be.

How long we keep it

Reservations and interest-list entries are kept until launch and for a year afterwards, or until you withdraw them, whichever comes first. Withdrawn records are marked withdrawn and freed from the 25-place count immediately, then deleted in routine cleanup.

Your choices, including removal

Withdrawing from the reservation form releases your place and stops us contacting you. To have your record erased outright, or to request a copy or a correction, email hello@tomeigoods.com from the address you signed up with and we will respond within thirty days.

Cookies

We set no cookies and use no third-party analytics, advertising pixels or fingerprinting. A small amount of first-party data — an anonymous visitor and session identifier, your funnel events, and how you arrived at the site — is kept in your own browser's local storage.
